IMAGES

The Massload ML-LOADPIN is a 17-4PH stainless steel shear pin load cell available in capacities of 50,000 lb, 75,000 lb, and 125,000 lb (22,680 kg to 56,700 kg), rated IP67, with a 150% safe overload and ≤ ±1% non-linearity. Designed to measure force at a pinned joint, it is offered with mV/V, analog output, or wireless transmitter & receiver configurations for crane, hoist, and heavy-lifting applications.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The Massload ML-LoadPin Load Pin is a 17-4PH stainless steel shear load pin engineered to measure force at a structural pinned joint in cranes, hoists, sheaves, and heavy lifting machinery. The pin senses the shear strain produced by the applied load and converts it into a proportional electrical signal, integrating real-time force measurement directly into the mechanical structure. Stainless steel construction and IP67 sealing deliver dependable long-term performance in outdoor and industrial environments where corrosion, vibration, and shock loading are routine.

The Load Pin can be built with an internal analog output signal conditioner, or a wireless transmitter can be added at the end of the cable. Wired units use a 4-pin Amphenol connector with a 40 ft (12 m) cable and are available with mV/V, analog, or wireless connectivity for direct connection to indicators, displays, and PLCs.

Most Common Applications: Crane and hoist load monitoring, tension monitoring, heavy lifting and rigging, and structural load measurements.
