The Laumas LAU is a 17-4PH stainless steel pin load cell available in capacities of 5,000 kg, 10,000 kg, and 20,000 kg (11,023 lb to 44,092 lb), with IP67 protection and combined error ≤ ±0.1%. Manufactured according to OIML R60 standards with a 400% ultimate overload rating and optional dual-bridge redundancy, it is designed for crane overload monitoring, hoist safety systems, and heavy industrial force measurement applications.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The LAU is a robust 17-4PH stainless steel load pin designed to measure shear strain generated on the grooves from the axial load applied to the load pin, typically found in cranes, hoists, cable systems, and heavy industrial machinery. By replacing an existing structural pin with the LAU, force measurement is integrated directly into the mechanical structure, eliminating the need for separate mounting hardware while providing accurate, real-time tension and compression force data. Available in multiple capacities, the LAU load pin addresses the most common mid-to-heavy capacity pin load measurement requirements in industrial crane and lifting applications.

Manufactured according to OIML R60 standards with a combined error of ≤ ±0.1%, the LAU connects directly to load cell indicators, transmitters, and Analog output signal conditioners for integration with PLC and SCADA-based crane safety monitoring, overload protection, and process control systems. The 400% ultimate overload rating provides exceptional protection against shock and dynamic loads in crane and hoist environments. An optional dual 350 Ω Wheatstone bridge configuration with two independent output cables supports dual-channel safety monitoring for safety-critical lifting and structural applications. The operating temperature range of −20°C to +70°C (−4°F to +158°F) supports year-round outdoor and industrial installation.
