The Massload ML-LoadPin-SH Load Pin is a 17-4PH stainless steel shear load pin available in capacities from 6.5t to 55t, rated IP67 with 150% safe overload and ≤ ±1% non-linearity. Built to serve as the load-sensing pin within a shackle assembly or custom assembly, it is offered in mV/V, wired analog output, or wireless output configurations for crane, hoist, and rigging force measurement.
The Massload ML-LoadPin-SH Load Pin is a 17-4PH stainless steel shear pin load cell designed to measure force directly within a shackle assembly or custom assembly, where it takes the place of the existing load-bearing pin. As tension is applied through the rigging, the pin senses the shear strain generated and converts it into a proportional electrical signal, putting accurate force measurement right at the connection point without adding hardware to the load path. Its stainless steel construction and IP67 sealing make it suited to outdoor, marine, and heavy industrial environments where moisture, vibration, and weather exposure are constant.
The Load Pin is available in wired or wireless configurations and can be built with an internal analog output signal conditioner or an internal wireless transmitter. Wired units use a 4-pin Amphenol connector with a 40 ft cable and can be supplied with mV/V, analog, or wireless output, connecting directly to indicators, amplifiers, and PLC systems for live load monitoring and overload protection.
Most Common Applications: Crane and hoist overload monitoring, offshore and marine lifting, winching and towing, construction load verification, and hanging scale applications.
