The Massload ML 1100 Double-Ended Shear Beam Load Cell Transducer is purpose-built for rugged and demanding industrial applications, where precision, durability, and resilience are critical. Traditionally used on Massload’s Axle Pad Truck scales, it is available in capacities of 25,000 lb (11,340 kg) and 50,000 lb (22,680 kg), including a 25,000 lb (11,340 kg) small envelope (SE) version.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The ML1100 Double-Ended Shear Beam Load Cell is Massload’s super-duty, shear-loaded, rigid-mount, and very rugged load cell for non-legal-for-trade applications. It is the standard load cell used in Massload’s axle pad truck scales and weigh-in-motion scales, and it performs reliably in situations where dynamic loads may be applied, making it well suited to onboard weighing.

The load cell is offered in configurations tailored to specific applications:

  • ML-1100-25K-AXL — the standard load cell for Massload axle pad scales or platform scales.
  • ML-1100-50K-AXL — a higher-capacity 50,000 lb (22,680 kg) version used in axle pads to achieve higher scale capacity.
  • ML-1100-25K-WIM — the standard load cell for Massload’s permanent weigh-in-motion platforms.
  • ML-1100-25K-SE — a small envelope version of the ML-1100-25K.

Across all versions, the ML 1100 is applied in rigid-mount truck scale systems including axle pad scales, truck trailer scales, weigh-in-motion scales, and on-board weighing.
