The Laumas FLC is a 17-4PH stainless steel compression load cell for foot-mounted vessel weighing, available in capacities from 75 kg to 10,000 kg (165 lb to 22,046 lb), with IP67 protection and adjustable height. It enables hopper, silo, and tank weighing systems to be built directly into the leveling foot structure, eliminating separate load cell mounting hardware and reducing installation height. ATEX Zone 2 options available on request.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The FLC is a 17-4PH stainless steel compression load cell designed to be installed directly inside compatible foot assemblies, integrating the load-sensing element into the leveling foot hardware of a tank, hopper, silo, or industrial vessel. By combining load measurement with the structural function of a leveling foot, the FLC eliminates the separate mounting brackets, caps, and bases required by conventional canister or column load cells, reducing system height and installation complexity. Available from 75 kg to 10,000 kg (165 lb to 22,046 lb) in a single product family with a threaded stud that passes through the foot from below, the FLC installation procedure involves screwing the foot fully down and then slightly unscrewing to achieve the desired height adjustment (maximum 10 mm excursion) before locking the fixing nut.

An optional AISI 304 stainless steel lateral force constraint plate (PPV for M12 thread, PPV80 for M20 thread) is available for SB2 series foot installations requiring protection against lateral forces and anti-tilt. The FLC connects to load cell indicators and amplifiers via its 6-conductor cable with sense lines, and is compatible with 4–20 mA signal conditioners for PLC integration.

Most Common Applications: Hopper, silo, and tank weighing using foot-integrated load cells; compact vessel weighing installations where mounting height is constrained; industrial process vessel weighing with adjustable-height foot systems; food processing and tank weighing requiring stainless steel construction.
