The Laumas FLC 3A is a 3-A SSI certified hygienic 17-4PH stainless steel canister load cell for foot-mounted vessel weighing, available in capacities from 1,000 kg to 20,000 kg (2,205 lb to 44,092 lb), with IP69K protection and food-contact rated cable. Its 2 mV/V ± 0.1% output and hygienic design make it the standard choice for dairy, food processing, and vessel weighing requiring the highest levels of cleanability and hygiene certification. The FLC 3A is the hygienic-rated version of the Laumas FLC foot compression load cell, certified to the 3-A Sanitary Standards (RPSCQC authorized by 3-A SSI) for use in dairy, food processing, and vessel weighing applications where sensor hygiene and cleanability are subject to regulatory requirements. Constructed from 17-4PH stainless steel with IP69K sealing — protecting against high-pressure 100 bar / 80°C steam jet cleaning — and fitted with a cable rated for contact with food, the FLC 3A integrates directly into compatible hygienic feet (HD series) to create a complete hygienic-grade foot weighing assembly for tanks, hoppers, and processing vessels.
Available from 1,000 kg to 20,000 kg (2,205 lb to 44,092 lb) in five capacity groups across six thread sizes (M12 to M36), the FLC 3A’s tightly controlled 2 mV/V ± 0.1% rated output minimizes signal mismatch in multi-point vessel weighing systems. Installation follows the same height-adjustment procedure as the standard FLC (maximum 10 mm excursion).. The FLC 3A connects to indicators and amplifiers via its 6-conductor sense-line cable, and supports 4–20 mA signal conditioning for PLC integration. ATEX certification is available on request.
