PV80EN1090 Mounting Kit for Shear Beam Load Cells
The Laumas PV80EN1090 is an AISI 304 stainless steel mounting kit for shear beam load cells (FTP, FTZ series) supporting up to 5,000 kg (11,023 lb), certified according to EN 1090. It features a self-centering joint foot for side-load and tilt protection, adjustable height, and a locking screw for safe transport and installation.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The PV80EN1090 mounting kit provides a robust, fully stainless steel solution for installing shear beam load cells in structural and industrial weighing applications at capacities up to 5,000 kg (11,023 lb). Constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, it is suited for environments where corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical integrity are essential — including outdoor platforms, food production facilities, and chemical processing installations.
A self-centering stainless steel joint foot resists lateral forces and prevents tipping, while also compensating for any angular misalignment between the supporting structure’s surfaces. Adjustable height allows the kit to be fine-tuned during installation for better load distribution. The integrated locking screw secures the load cell during transport and initial assembly, then is released for normal weighing operation.
Most Common Applications: Structural weighing platforms, outdoor floor scales, industrial tank and vessel weighing, conveyor scales in corrosive environments.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
