The Laumas FTP is an AISI 420 stainless steel bending and shear beam load cell available in capacities from 75 kg to 10,000 kg with OIML R60 C3 certification and IP67/IP68 protection. With an optional IP69K rating for steam-jet and high-pressure washdown environments, it is ideal for food, and chemical processing applications where hygiene is critical.
The FTP is a stainless steel bending and shear beam load cell designed for applications where both accuracy and corrosion resistance are paramount. Constructed from AISI 420 stainless steel, the FTP naturally resists corrosion without additional coatings, making it an excellent choice for food processing, and chemical environments subject to frequent cleaning. Available in bending beam from 75 to 300kg and shear beam from 500 to 10,000 kg, it covers a very wide capacity range in a single product family. The FTP achieves a combined error of ? ±0.02% and OIML R60 C3 certification (75 to 2,000 kg) for legal-for-trade applications, with a minimum verification interval of Emax/15,000. IP67 is standard for bending beam capacities 75 to 300 kg, and IP68 for shear beam capacities 500 to 10,000 kg. On request, IP69K certification is available – confirming resistance to 100 bar pressurized hot water jets at 80°C – the highest environmental protection available in this product family. ATEX/IECEx versions are available for hazardous area applications.
Most Common Applications: Food processing scales, pharmaceutical weighing, chemical tank and hopper weighing, dairy and beverage industry, wash-down environments, legal-for-trade commercial weighing.
