FTZ Single-Ended Shear Beam Load Cell
The Laumas FTZ is a 17-4 PH precipitation hardened stainless steel shear beam load cell available in capacities from 500 kg to 5,000 kg with OIML R60 C3 certification and IP67 protection. With FM HazLoc, ATEX and IECEx listings, the FTZ combines the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with the high strength of precipitation hardened alloy for demanding industrial and washdown environments.

The FTZ stainless steel shear beam load cell engineered for high-capacity applications where corrosion resistance cannot be compromised. Using 17-4 PH (precipitation hardened) stainless steel – a material that combines the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with mechanical strength approaching alloy steel – the FTZ is rated IP67 across all capacities from 500 kg to 5,000 kg. OIML R60 C3 certification makes it suitable for legal-for-trade applications, with a minimum verification interval of Emax/7,500 for the 500 to 2,000 kg range. The FTZ achieves a combined error of ? ±0.02%, rated output of 3 mV/V ±0.27%, and a maximum excitation of 18 V. Its extended operating temperature range of -35°C to +65°C suits outdoor industrial installations in cold climates. FM HazLoc listing (US/Canada), ATEX, and IECEx certification make the FTZ suitable for use in hazardous areas, including grain elevators, chemical plants, and petrochemical facilities.
