The PLP is an anodized aluminum planar beam load cell manufactured to OIML R60 C3 accuracy standards for use in high precision weighing systems. It is designed to be installed at each corner of a scale platform, four cells working together to accurately measure the total load applied anywhere on the platform surface, with the PLP’s planar geometry providing inherent compensation for off-center loads.
The PLP’s rated output connects directly to load cell indicators and amplifiers, and is compatible with 4–20 mA signal conditioners for PLC integration in commercial and industrial weighing systems. An IP65 anodized aluminum body provides reliable protection against dust and light moisture exposure in commercial weighing environments. The PLP’s wide operating temperature range of −35°C to +65°C (−31°F to +149°F) extends its suitability beyond typical indoor commercial scales to outdoor installations and cold-storage facilities. The compensated temperature range of −10°C to +40°C (14°F to 104°F) ensures certified accuracy is maintained across standard indoor commercial operating conditions.
