The Mantracourt ICA2H is a subminiature Very High Stability signal conditioner delivering a 3-wire 0.1 -to 5.1 VDC output with the lowest minimum supply voltage of any voltage-output ICAH model at 8.5 to 28 VDC. Its 19.5 mm diameter x 7.6 mm (0.30″) profile allows it to be embedded internally in the load cell.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The ICA family of subminiature signal conditioners is purpose-built to be embedded directly inside load cells, pressure transducers, torque transducers, and other strain gauge-based sensors. By placing the amplifier at the point of measurement, cable length between the gauges and amplifier is minimized, dramatically reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic interference from noise-generating equipment.

Available in seven variants to cover every output and power supply requirement:

  • ICA1H: 3-wire, 0.1 to 10.1 VDC output; 13 to 28 VDC power supply. The widest voltage output range in the family, ideal for systems requiring a full 0 to 10 V span referenced to a common supply rail.
  • ICA2H: 3-wire, 0.1 to 5.1 VDC output; 8.5 to 28 VDC power supply. The lowest minimum supply voltage among the voltage-output ICAH models, making it the right choice where only a 9 to 12 VDC supply is available.
  • ICA3H: 4-wire, ±10 VDC output, ±13 to ±15 VDC bipolar power supply. Delivers a true bipolar output for systems that require both positive and negative signal representation (tension and compression); requires a split power supply.
  • ICA6H: 3-wire, ±10 V output; +14 to 27 VDC power supply. Slightly taller than other models (7.6mm) at 10.8 mm.
  • ICA4H: 3-wire, 4-20 mA output; 13 to 28 VDC supply. Industry standard 4-20mA output that supports both source and sink wiring modes and the widest bridge sensitivity range (up to 150 mV/V).
  • ICA5S: 2-wire, 4-20 mA output; 7.5 to 28 VDC supply. Industrial-grade two-wire connection and the lowest minimum supply in the family.
  • ICA5ATEX: 2-wire loop powered 4-20 mA output; 9 to 28 VDC supply. ATEX intrinsically safe certified for use in explosive and hazardous atmospheres.

All models share the same 19.5 mm diameter PCB (ICA6H: 10.8 mm tall; all others: 7.6 mm tall), standardized 5 or 1.11 VDC bridge excitation, a single M2 mounting hole, multilayer PCB construction with additional EMC filtering, and RoHS compliance. An optional ILE field enclosure converts any ICA-equipped load cell into a conditioned-output sensor for external installations.
