DTER Hanging Crane Scale
The Laumas DTER is a die-cast aluminum digital crane scale for bridge-crane and overhead lifting from 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) to 5,000 kg (11,023 lb). A bright 30 mm red LED display, swivel hook, IP64 rating, and 10 m (33 ft) remote make it a solid mid-capacity choice for industrial weighing.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The DTER is a rugged die-cast aluminum digital crane scale aimed at mid-capacity overhead and bridge-crane weighing, handling 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) to 5,000 kg (11,023 lb). It is at home in Original Equipment Manufacturer (Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)) plants, warehouses, and fabrication shops where loads ride the crane hook through the working day.
A 30 mm semi-alphanumeric red LED display with brightness control reads clearly across a busy floor, and the lower swivel hook lets loads turn freely as they settle. HOLD, semi-automatic and preset tare, weighed-value totalizing, and overload-count storage support real production weighing, while IP64 sealing protects against dust and splashing. A rechargeable 6 V battery (with a spare included) gives around 80 hours per charge, a 230 VAC charger is supplied, and the remote control works from up to 10 m (33 ft). Accuracy is ±0.03% of full scale with 150% safe overload.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles.
Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
