The TAL is a precision 17-4PH stainless steel tension load cell engineered for reliable, long-term force measurement in harsh industrial and marine environments. Standard shackle-compatible openings at both ends allow the TAL to be installed directly into rigging, lifting, or mooring systems, enabling accurate real-time tension monitoring without modifications to existing hardware. With a combined error of < ±0.03% and a rated output of 2 mV/V ±0.1%, the TAL delivers the accuracy required for critical overhead lifting verification, structural monitoring, and material handling applications where measurement integrity is essential.
The TAL’s IP68 full immersion sealing, 17-4PH stainless steel body, and wide compensated temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to +158°F) make it the load cell of choice for offshore platforms, marine vessels, hydro dams, and other environments where prolonged exposure to water, humidity, and corrosive conditions is expected. Its millivolt/volt output connects directly to indicators, signal conditioners with analog output, and transmitters with field bus communication that are available for integration with PLC and SCADA systems. An optional dual-bridge configuration (two redundant 350 Ω Wheatstone bridges with separate output cables) is available for safety-critical dual-channel monitoring applications. ATEX and IECEx hazardous-area certifications are available on request.
