The Laumas CL is a 17-4PH stainless steel bidirectional compression and tension load cell available in capacities from 500 kg to 200,000 kg (1,102 lb to 440,925 lb), with IP68 & IP67 protection and combined error ≤ ±0.05%. Manufactured according to OIML R60 standards with a through-bolt central thread and optional dual-bridge redundancy, it is designed for tank, silo, and vessel weighing, structural load monitoring, and demanding industrial force measurement applications.
The CL is a heavy-duty 17-4PH stainless steel compression and tension load cell engineered for the most demanding industrial weighing and structural monitoring applications. Its bidirectional design measures both compressive and tensile forces through the same sensor body, a key advantage for applications where load direction may vary, or where accurate measurement in both directions is required for process control and structural safety. The CL’s millivolt/volt output connects directly to load cell indicators, transmitters, and Analog output signal conditioners for integration into PLC and SCADA-based process control systems, monitoring tank fill levels, batch accumulation, and structural loads. IP68 sealing for 500 to 60,000 kg capacities and IP67 for 100,000 to 200,000 kg ensures reliable protection in submerged, washdown, outdoor, and chemically aggressive environments. An optional dual 350 Ω Wheatstone bridge configuration provides two independent output cables for dual-channel safety monitoring in critical structural and process applications. The operating temperature range of −30°C to +203°C (−22°F to +194°F) supports year-round outdoor and industrial installation across North America.
