The Laumas CA is a 17-4PH stainless steel anchor load cell available in capacities from 30,000 kg to 250,000 kg (66,139 lb to 551,156 lb), with IP68 protection and combined error ≤ ±0.1%. The CA is a heavy-capacity 17-4PH stainless steel anchor load cell engineered for direct force measurement around structural anchor rods, mooring cables, and large-diameter fasteners in the most demanding civil, offshore, and geotechnical infrastructure applications. Its annular through-hole design accommodates internal bore diameters from 50 mm to 225 mm (2.0 in to 8.9 in), making it adaptable to a wide range of anchor rod sizes encountered in dam gates, offshore platform anchoring, bridge cable monitoring, and large-scale retaining structure instrumentation. Available in capacities from 30,000 kg (66,139 lb) up to 250,000 kg (551,156 lb), the CA operates at force levels far beyond the range of conventional through-hole load cells, covering the most extreme anchor loads in civil and marine infrastructure.
The CA’s millivolt/volt output connects directly to load cell indicators, structural monitoring data loggers, and amplifiers, and is compatible with 4-20 mA signal conditioners for integration into automated monitoring and alarm systems. Its compensated temperature range of −20°C to +70°C (−4°F to +158°F) and IP68 full-immersion stainless steel construction ensure reliable long-term measurement in submerged, marine, and outdoor environments over multi-decade infrastructure monitoring programs. Optional galvanized steel load distribution plates (PIAS accessory) are available for optimized load transfer at the bearing surface. An optional dual 350 Ω Wheatstone bridge configuration provides dual-channel redundant output for safety-critical monitoring systems. ATEX and IECEx hazardous-area certifications are available on request.
