The 363HHAN is a heavy-duty alloy steel through-hole compression load cell engineered specifically for geotechnical and civil engineering monitoring applications where a structural bolt, rod, or anchor cable must pass through the center of the sensor. The annular through-hole design allows the load cell to slip directly over a ground anchor, rock bolt, tieback, soil nail, or threaded rod and be secured between hardened washers, enabling direct, continuous measurement of the compressive force applied to the bearing plate by the preloaded anchor or fastener. This makes the 363HHAN the standard tool for long-term monitoring of anchor load in retaining walls, slope stabilization systems, foundation tiedowns, and post-tensioned structural elements used in civil infrastructure projects.
