The Anyload 202WA is a low-profile aluminum wing-beam planar load cell available in capacities from 12.5 lb to 300 kg (5.7 kg to 300 kg), rated IP65 with FM approval and ATEX/IECEx hazardous-area options. Its self-compensating wing-beam geometry corrects for overturning moment caused by off-center loading, making it the preferred corner load cell for composite and plastic scale bases, including picture-frame style infant incubator scales.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The 202WA is a low-profile aluminum wing-beam planar load cell engineered specifically for scale structures built on composite, plastic, or lightweight aluminum bases where overturning moment (caused by loads applied toward the edge or corner of the platform) would otherwise introduce measurement error. The wing-beam geometry provides inherent self-compensation for this overturning effect, allowing the 202WA to maintain accurate weight readings regardless of where the load is placed on the scale surface, without requiring the rigid metal bases typically needed by conventional planar beam load cells. This makes it the preferred sensor for picture-frame style scales, infant incubator weighing systems, and portable scales built from non-metal structural materials.

The 202WA is factory-calibrated to 0.9 mV/V ± 0.1%, enabling direct corner replacement without a junction box or trim pot. It connects directly to load cell indicators and amplifiers, and supports 4–20 mA signal conditioning for PLC integration. The ultra-low profile design supports scale platform heights of approximately 25 mm (1 in). FM-approved and ATEX/IECEx “-Ex” suffix versions are available for hazardous-area scale installations.

Most Common Applications: Infant incubator and medical weighing scales, portable scales on composite or plastic bases, picture-frame style OEM platform scales, retail and postal scale manufacturing, laboratory balances with non-metal housings.
