The Laumas WINOX-G and WINOX-2G are AISI 304 stainless steel weight indicators and batching controllers with a backlit LCD graphic display (240×64 pixels and 240×128 pixels), multilanguage software, IP68 protection, NTEP Class III/IIIL approval, and UL recognition for the United States and Canada. Its graphic interface with multiple display modes, piece counting, and statistical prepackage checking makes it ideal for advanced process weighing and batching applications.

The WINOX-G and WINOX-2G elevate the WINOX stainless steel indicator line with a backlit LCD graphic display (240×64 pixels, visible area 133×39 mm & 240×128 pixels, visible area 128x75mm) and multilanguage software supporting four languages plus one customizable language – making it the choice for international production sites and facilities requiring multi-language operator interfaces.

The graphic display enables advanced display modes unavailable on LED indicators: piece counter views, totalizer screens, batching progress visualization, and statistical prepackage checking compliant with trade regulations. A 99-item database with preset tares, setpoints, and weight thresholds in the BASE program supports sophisticated check-weighing and catch-weighing applications for prepackaged goods. The batching programs add graphical load status representation, production storage, product stock management, and consumption tracking across up to 99 formulas – covering complex multi-ingredient batching in food, chemical, and production.

All optional fieldbuses – WiFi, CANopen, DeviceNet, Profibus DP, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet TCP/IP, and Modbus/TCP – are available. The IP68 stainless steel enclosure in P, Q, D, or ATEX versions adapts to wall, desk, column, and front-panel installations. NTEP Class III/IIIL and UL recognition for the United States and Canada ensure certified legal-for-trade accuracy.

Most Common Applications: Statistical prepackage checking, multi-language production batching, advanced check-weighing, inventory and stock management, automated filling and dosing with graphical operator interface.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles. Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight. NBSCIA found the scales to be accurate compared to harvest yield monitors and highway scales. For NBSCIA's purpose to check crop yield and estimate tones of manure applied and fertilizer application on test plots the Ultraslim LCD proved to be the best choice.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly. Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal. All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP. Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised. Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved. Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again. *Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
