The Laumas STR is a ball-mounted self-centering pluggable foot in stainless steel, rated up to 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) with M12, M20, and M24 threads. Two height variants – 102 mm for bending beam and shear beam load cells, and 89 mm for FLC load cells.
The STR is a ball-mounted self-centering pluggable foot designed for FCAL/X, FCOL, FTK/L, FTP/-P, FTZ and FLC series load cells. Its ball-joint mechanism provides active self-centering under load, effectively eliminating lateral and bending forces transmitted to the load cell – a critical requirement in high-capacity multi-cell installations where structural deflection is expected. The pluggable design simplifies installation and servicing. Two body heights are available: the 102 mm (4.02 in) version is for bending beam and shear beam load cells, while the 89 mm (3.50 in) version is matched to FLC load cells. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the STR covers thread sizes M12, M20, and M24 with static load ratings from 2,000 to 10,000 kg (4,409 to 22,046 lb).
Most Common Applications: High-capacity platform and floor scales, tank and hopper weighing.
