Massload Wireless Axle Pad Scale that sends axle weights wirelessly to a USB base station and a PC running the Massload Advanced Weigh Scale (MAWS) software. MAWS captures each axle, supports truck-in/truck-out net weighing, stores records by customer, truck and product, and prints weigh tickets. This system is not legal-for-trade. Ramps are available as an option for above-ground use.
Portable truck weighing scales, also known as axle pad scales, axle weigh pads, or wheel load scales, are used to measure individual axle weights and calculate a vehicle’s total gross weight.
Massload Technologies manufactures ultra-durable, low-profile axle pad scales designed for fast, accurate vehicle weighing across agriculture, mining, transportation, construction, waste management, and other demanding industries. Each system features a large weighing surface and delivers axle weight accuracy within 0.25% Full Scale (FS).
Our axle pad scales can be installed above ground using ramps for portable applications or flush-mounted in concrete for permanent installations. Systems are typically supplied in pairs for standard axle weighing but can also be configured with multiple platforms to capture the weight of an entire truck or trailer in a single weighment.
Above-ground installations are forklift portable, allowing the system to be easily relocated as operational needs change. For maximum reliability, portable installations should be used with Massload quick-disconnect cables.
Axle pad scales help fleet operators improve safety, reduce operating costs, and ensure vehicles remain within legal weight limits.
By accurately monitoring axle loads, operators can:
Massload axle pad scales are available in several standard configurations:
Custom configurations are also available for specialized vehicle applications.
Massload axle pad scales are fully electronic and engineered to provide fast, repeatable measurements in demanding field conditions.
Key specifications include:
Massload axle pad scales are built for long-term reliability in the harshest operating environments. Designed and manufactured in Canada, they provide superior durability and measurement accuracy while standing up to repeated use in mud, gravel, snow, and other challenging conditions.
Unlike many competing systems, Massload axle pads can deliver reliable measurements even when used on properly compacted yard gravel, making them ideal for temporary job sites and remote locations.
Every scale is factory calibrated using fully traceable certified weights before shipment.
