The Massload ML 100 is a precision alloy steel single-ended shear beam load cell fully manufactured in Canada at Massload’s VCAP-certified facility. Available in capacities from 1,000 lbs to 20,000 lbs with multiple output options including mV/V, analog signal, and wireless analog & serial output, it is engineered for tank, hopper, vessel, and platform weighing in demanding industrial environments.
The ML 100 is Massload’s flagship Canadian-made single-ended shear beam load cell, designed and manufactured in-house at the company’s VCAP (Verified Conformity Assessment Program) certified facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A single-ended shear beam load cell detects weight by measuring shear stress in the cell body, making it an extremely robust and versatile sensor for industrial weighing. The ML 100 is available in capacities ranging from 1,000 lbs to 20,000 lbs, with a high-phosphorous electroless nickel coating on 4340 alloy steel for superior corrosion and chip resistance. Multiple output options – including standard mV/V, 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, 0-5 V, ±10 V, and wireless – allow seamless integration with virtually any control system or PLC. Point loading is supported through load cell assemblies (TWA-10010 weigh module) or free-floating feet. Massload’s in-house engineering team is available to assist with custom configurations. This is the load cell of choice for OEM integrators who need reliable quality backed by responsive customer support.
Most Common Applications: Tank and hopper weighing, vessel scales, industrial floor scales, platform scales, OEM integration, process batching.
