LCD20 DIN Rail Load Cell Signal Conditioner
The Mantracourt LCD20 is a compact, stackable DIN rail load cell signal conditioner delivering isolated 4-20 mA and 0-10 V analogue outputs with two set-point relays, two digital inputs, and 10-point linearization. Powered from 9 to 32 V DC, it supports 6-wire load cell connection and full digital setup via PC Toolkit or handheld programmer.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The LCD20 is an intelligent microprocessor-based DIN rail amplifier designed for process monitoring and control with load cells, pressure transducers, and strain gauge-based sensors. It is the go-to solution when an analogue output and on-board relay control are both needed in a single compact module.
In industrial process control environments, the LCD20 replaces a combination of separate amplifiers, relay modules, and signal conditioners in a single stackable unit. Its two SPNO relays can be configured to trigger at net, gross, peak, or valley thresholds, making it ideal for level control in tanks and silos, batching systems, overload alarms on conveyors, and machine guarding applications. The 4-20 mA and 0-10 V analogue outputs feed directly into existing PLCs, DCS controllers, and SCADA systems. Ten-point linearization compensates for non-linear sensors, and 6-wire load cell connection compensates for cable losses. Configuration and calibration are handled through the free LC Toolkit software via USB or an optional LP2 handheld programmer, which means no need for a laptop on-site during commissioning.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles.
Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight.
NBSCIA found the scales to be accurate compared to harvest yield monitors and highway scales.
For NBSCIA's purpose to check crop yield and estimate tones of manure applied and fertilizer application on test plots the Ultraslim LCD proved to be the best choice.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
