DTEZ Portable Hanging Crane Scale
The Laumas DTEZ is a portable digital crane scale for heavy lifting and load testing from 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) to 30,000 kg (66,139 lb). With dual shackle connections, a backlit LCD, IP64 rating, ±0.01% accuracy, and a carry case for lighter models, it suits heavy material handling, rigging, and field weighing.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The DTEZ is a portable, high-accuracy digital crane scale built for heavy lifting and in-line load measurement from 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) to 30,000 kg (66,139 lb). High-resistance aluminum alloy is used on the 3,000–5,000 kg models and steel on the 10,000–30,000 kg models, and both connect through upper and lower shackles for crane, hoist, and pull-test work.
A backlit five-digit LCD with ten signalling symbols keeps readings clear in the field, and peak display, totalizing, semi-automatic tare, and unit switching across kg, t, N, kN, and lb make it flexible for both weighing and force tasks. IP64 sealing and a tight ±0.01% of full-scale accuracy suit demanding heavy work, while three AA batteries give around 50 hours of runtime. An aluminum carry case is included on 3,000–10,000 kg models, with an optional hook and a 15 m (49 ft) remote control available on request.
Most Common Applications: Heavy material handling and overhead weighing, crane and hoist load testing, rigging and lifting force measurement, portable field and site weighing, proof-load and pull testing.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles.
Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight.
NBSCIA found the scales to be accurate compared to harvest yield monitors and highway scales.
For NBSCIA's purpose to check crop yield and estimate tones of manure applied and fertilizer application on test plots the Ultraslim LCD proved to be the best choice.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
