The SA is a precision AISI 4140 nickel plated steel S-type tension and compression load cell engineered for legal-for-trade weighing in industrial scale applications requiring certified accuracy at low capacity. Available in 15 kg, 30 kg, and 60 kg (33 lb, 66 lb, 132 lb) capacities, all three with OIML R60 C3 accuracy class certification, the SA delivers combined error ≤ ±0.02% and 2 mV/V ± 10% full-scale output, meeting the accuracy requirements of commercial platform scales, tension bar mechanical scales, and suspended weighing installations. The S-type body geometry, with threaded holes at both ends for eye bolt or rod end mounting hardware, enables the SA to measure tension forces in hanging and suspended configurations as well as light compression applications using threaded shafts & plates.

Ball-and-socket joint accessory (galvanized C40 steel, M6×1 thread) is available to accommodate angular misalignment in tension installations. The SA connects directly to load cell indicators, transmitters, and is compatible with Analog output signal conditioners for integration into PLC-based weighing and process control systems. ATEX certifications are available on request for installations in classified hazardous areas.
