The Massload Wired Load Shackle with Analog Output keeps the signal path short and the installation simple, delivering a standard analog signal straight from the shackle to a PLC or control system without a separate enclosure or additional instrument.
The Massload ML-4-20MA is the featured option, offering a proven 2-wire 4-20 mA output on a 9-30 V DC supply in a compact, cost-effective package. The A1A-22 is also available for applications requiring 0-10 V or 4-20 mA output in an aluminum-cased inline form factor.
Massload Load Shackles are rugged, industrial-grade load cells built around the industry-standard Crosby G-2130 bolt-type anchor shackle, turning a proven rigging component into a precise tension measurement point. The internally gauged load pin is machined from high-quality 17-4 stainless steel and sealed to IP67, delivering reliable readings in wet, dirty, and demanding outdoor environments.
Because the shackle drops straight into existing rigging, it measures real working loads exactly where the force is applied without adding height or complexity to the lift. Tension accuracym is less than 1% FS, while a 150% safe overload and 300% ultimate overload rating provide a critical safety margin when working close to capacity. Standard capacities run from 8.5t to 35t, with a 55t and 85t special-order options and custom capacities available on request.
Available in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless configurations, the Massloas Load Shackle suits permanent installations and portable field kits alike. Every unit is manufactured and calibrated in-house through Massload’s VCAP-certified Quality Management System in Canada.
