Massload HCH Hitch Load Cell
The Massload HCH is an industrial-grade alloy steel single-ended shear beam load cell purpose-built for hitch and pintle hitch weighing applications on grain carts and manure spreader wagons. Fully manufactured in Canada at Massload’s VCAP-certified facility, it features a high-phosphorous electroless nickel coating on 4340 alloy steel for outstanding corrosion and chip resistance in demanding agricultural field conditions.

The HCH is Massload’s specialized single-ended shear beam load cell engineered specifically for hitch and pintle hitch load measurement on grain carts and manure spreader wagons – a demanding application where conventional load cells are frequently damaged by shock loads, abrasion, and moisture. Fully manufactured at Massload’s VCAP-certified facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the HCH is built to the same exacting standards as the rest of the ML series but with geometry and mounting provisions optimized for wagon hitch use. The high-phosphorous, corrosion-resistant industrial-grade electroless nickel coating on 4340 alloy steel provides outstanding protection against moisture, mud, and abrasion, typical in agricultural field environments. As with all Massload products, in-house engineering support is available for integration and custom configurations, and the HCH is backed by Massload’s commitment to responsive service and fast lead-time deliveries from its Canadian Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) facility.
