J04EA-16 Aluminum Junction Box
The Anyload J04EA-16 (J-Boxer) is a compact aluminum IP67 junction box for 2–4 load cells, featuring individual excitation trim, independent potentiometers, a preinstalled GORE breather vent, and captive stainless steel screws. FM, ATEX, and IECEx approved versions are available.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The J04EA-16 is a compact, precision-engineered aluminum junction box designed for platform and multi-cell weighing systems requiring up to 4 load cell connections in a tight, durable package. Its strong aluminum casting keeps the enclosure rigid and lightweight, making it well suited for OEM integrators and scale manufacturers who need a reliable summing solution that fits within a constrained footprint. The preinstalled GORE breather vent equalizes internal pressure while blocking moisture and contaminants, maintaining the IP67 seal over the full operating life of the installation without the pressure buildup that can compromise conventional sealed enclosures.
Individual cell excitation trimming via independent potentiometers allows precise per-channel signal adjustment, ensuring balanced output from all connected load cells regardless of minor sensitivity variations between cells. Captive stainless steel screws attached to the cover prevent loss during field service. FM Approved, and ATEX/IECEx versions are available for use in hazardous locations.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles.
Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight.
NBSCIA found the scales to be accurate compared to harvest yield monitors and highway scales.
For NBSCIA's purpose to check crop yield and estimate tones of manure applied and fertilizer application on test plots the Ultraslim LCD proved to be the best choice.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
