FTZA Single-Ended Shear Beam Load Cell
The Laumas FTZA is a large-body 17-4 PH stainless steel shear beam load cell available in capacities from 500 kg to 10,000 kg with OIML R60 C3/C4 certification and IP68 hermetic protection. With ATEX/IECEx listings, the FTZA is designed for high-capacity industrial platform, vessel, and tank weighing in the most demanding wet and corrosive environments.

The FTZA high-capacity stainless steel shear beam load cell, extends the FTZ concept to larger capacities and adds IP68 hermetic sealing for the most demanding wet environments. Built from 17-4 PH precipitation hardening stainless steel, the FTZA covers a capacity range of 500 kg to 10,000 kg with a notably larger body cross-section than the FTZ, providing greater structural rigidity for high-load applications. IP68 protection (rated for continuous immersion) is standard across all capacities, making the FTZA suitable for washdown, outdoor, and even submerged installation conditions. OIML R60 C3 certification is standard across all capacities. Rated output is 2 mV/V ±0.2% with a maximum excitation of 18 V and combined error ? ±0.02% (C3) or ? ±0.017% (C4). The FTZA’s operating range of -35°C to +65°C makes it suitable for cold-climate outdoor installations, and ATEX/IECEx certification is available for hazardous area applications.
Most Common Applications: Large-capacity platform and floor scales, high-capacity tank and vessel weighing, outdoor industrial weighing, chemical and petro food processing wash-down environments.
