The FTKL shear beam load cell has premium accuracy, distinguished from the standard FTK by its availability in OIML R60 C3, C4, and C5 accuracy classes – the highest accuracy classes available for shear beam load cells. Constructed from AISI 4340 nickel plated alloy steel, the FTKL is rated IP67 across all capacities (500 to 5,000 kg). Combined error is ? ±0.02% at C3, ? ±0.017% at C4, and ? ±0.014% at C5, with minimum verification intervals of up to Emax/20,000 at C5 for 500 to 1,000 kg. The FTKL carries NTEP certification and FM HazLoc listing for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in the US and Canada – making it one of the most comprehensively certified shear beam load cells available. A rated output of 3 mV/V ±0.1% improves resolution for demanding precision applications. A wide operating temperature range of -35°C to +65°C makes it suitable for outdoor extreme weather installations.
