DTL Double-Ended Shear Beam Load Cell
The Laumas DTL is an AISI 4340 nickel plated steel double-ended shear beam load cell rated at 25,000 kg (55,116 lb) with OIML R60 C3 certification, IP68 hermetic protection, and a combined error of ≤ ±0.02%. With FM HazLoc and ATEX/IECEx certifcations, it is purpose-built for heavy-capacity silo, tank, and vessel weighing in both standard and hazardous area industrial environments.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The DTL is a high-capacity double-ended shear beam load cell rated at 25,000 kg (55,116 lb), designed specifically for silo, tank, and vessel weighing applications where large structural loads must be measured accurately and reliably. Constructed from AISI 4340 nickel plated steel and sealed to IP68, the DTL achieves a combined error of ≤ ±0.02% and OIML R60 C3 certification (minimum verification interval Emax/15,000) for legal-for-trade applications. Rated output is 2 mV/V ±0.1% with a maximum excitation of 18 VDC and a compensated temperature range of -10°C to +40°C (14°F to 104°F), with an operating range of -35°C to +65°C (-31°F to 149°F). The DTL is supplied with a 20 m (65.6 ft) cable – an exceptionally long cable that connects to junction box or indicator at a distance from the load cell location. FM HazLoc listing (US/Canada) and ATEX/IECEx certification are available for hazardous area applications.
Most Common Applications: Silo and bulk storage vessel weighing, large tank and hopper scales, industrial process weighing, level measurement in tanks and silos, hazardous area vessel weighing.
