DSC 24 Channel Logging Software
The Mantracourt DSC 24 Channel Logging Software is a free Windows application for viewing and logging data to a CSV file up to 24 DSC, DCell, or DSCUSB modules simultaneously. It allows configuration of channel count, communications settings, log interval, display resolution, and custom channel descriptions — all saveable as reusable configuration profiles.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The DSC 24 Channel Logging Software is a dedicated multi-channel data logging tool for the DSC, DCell, and DSCUSB family of digital load cell converter modules. Distributed as freeware, it enables engineers and technicians to monitor and record weight, force, torque, and pressure data from up to 24 instruments simultaneously on a single Windows PC — making it the practical choice for multi-sensor test rigs, structural load monitoring, process supervision, and quality control applications where several channels of strain gauge data must be captured in parallel.
The software provides a clear tabular display of all active channels, with configurable channel labels, log intervals, and display resolution. Complete configuration profiles — including channel assignments, communications settings, and descriptions — can be saved and reloaded at any time, making it easy to return to a known setup for recurring test campaigns or production monitoring tasks. Logged data is written to CSV format for direct import into Microsoft Excel or other analysis applications.
Different combinations of computer, USB ports, USB hubs, and extenders may reduce the number of modules the software can display.
Most Common Applications: Multi-sensor structural and platform load monitoring, parallel force and torque measurement, process supervision in Original Equipment Manufacturer (Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)), multi-point weighing system data capture.

NBSCIA purchased a four piece set of Ultraslim LCD to allow two axle weighing. Staff could transport the Ultraslims in their personal vehicles.
Units were easy to level and the digital key pad was easy to read, even in sunlight.
NBSCIA found the scales to be accurate compared to harvest yield monitors and highway scales.
For NBSCIA's purpose to check crop yield and estimate tones of manure applied and fertilizer application on test plots the Ultraslim LCD proved to be the best choice.

I wanted to pass on a thank-you from my customer EMS-Tech. Specifically to Marc but also to the others at Massload that were involved but I didn't deal with directly.
Last fall EMS-Tech bought a pair of custom ML-700s to measure cable tension for the winches that manipulate the loading spout at a grain terminal.
All was going well until about 5 weeks ago, when an operator at the terminal bypassed the safety mechanism, overloaded and broke the tension link as well as some other equipment. EMS-Tech has been under a lot of pressure from their customer to put the grain terminal back into service ASAP.
Marc & Massload made every effort to ensure that the custom ML-700 was delivered on time as promised.
Originally, the ML-700 was to be shipped via UPS Express but when Marc found out that UPS could not guarantee delivery, he hand delivered the equipment to Fedex. This saved at least two days and provided the time needed to configure & calibrate the electronics before handing the equipment over to EMS-Tech for installation and commissioning.

We purchased a set of axle pads several years ago and they are very accurate and convenient. When one of the load cells failed, ( I suspect operator abuse, truck slamming on the brakes) Ryan in tech support was amazingly patient, professional and helpful in the diagnostic process. He went above and beyond to help us get the problem resolved.
Our scale was up and running very quickly and is a very useful tool on our farm again.
*Just a side note, the more picky you are regarding the ground work under and ramps leading on and off the pads the more accurate they’ll be. We put a concrete pad underneath them and a level approach and departure ramp for weighing super B’s and are within 10-40 kg consistently of all the other certified scales in our area.
