CLS Compression Load Cell
The Laumas CLS is an AISI 420 stainless steel low-profile compression load cell with an integrated stainless steel lower plate, available in capacities of 1,000 kg, 2,000 kg, and 5,000 kg (2,205 lb, 4,409 lb, and 11,023 lb) with IP68 hermetic protection and a combined error of ≤ ±0.03%. ATEX/IECEx certified versions are available for hazardous area, vessel & tank weighing, and any type of compression applications.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The CLS is a low-profile stainless steel compression load cell designed for tank, vessel, silo and any compression weighing applications where installation height is restricted. Its most distinctive feature is the integrated stainless steel lower plate, which is bolted directly to the load cell body – eliminating the need for a separate base component and simplifying installation on tank supports and silo legs. Constructed from AISI 420 stainless steel and sealed to IP68, the CLS is suited for wash-down, food processing, and chemical environments where moisture and chemical exposure are constant challenges. With a 10 m (32.8 ft) cable and ATEX/IECEx certified versions available for hazardous area applications.
Most Common Applications: Tank and vessel weighing in food, and chemical processing environments, silo and hopper weighing, low-profile industrial platform scale support points, compression weighing requiring integrated base construction.
