CBX Compression Load Cell

The CBX is the large-body variant of the Laumas compression button type load cell family, providing a physically larger cell diameter for the higher load capacities of 15,000 kg, 30,000 kg, and 50,000 kg (33,069 lb, 66,139 lb, and 110,231 lb). Constructed from 17-4 PH precipitation hardening stainless steel and sealed to IP68, the CBX is designed for large silo, bulk storage vessel, and heavy tank weighing applications in the chemical, petrochemical, food, and bulk materials industries. Combined error is ≤ ±0.035% with a rated output of 2 mV/V ±0.1% and a compensated temperature range of – 10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F). Operating range extends to – 20°C to +70°C (- 4°F to 158°F). Cable is 10 m (32.8 ft). A dual redundant bridge option (two Wheatstone bridges with two output cables) is available on request for dual safety systems. ATEX/IECEx certified versions are available for hazardous areas.
