The CBL is the flagship compression button type load cell from Laumas, covering an exceptionally wide capacity range in a single hermetically sealed 17-4 PH stainless steel package. A compression load cell together with the weighing module is installed at the support points of tanks, silos, hoppers, and vessels, measuring the compressive load transmitted through each support leg to calculate total weight. The CBL is widely used in the food, chemical, and bulk materials industries where stainless steel construction, hermetic sealing, and high accuracy are required simultaneously. OIML R60 C2 (minimum verification interval Emax/15,000) is standard for 2,500 to 10,000 kg and C3 (minimum verification interval Emax/15,000, ≤ ±0.02%) for 2,500 to12,500 kg. The exceptional operating temperature range of – 30°C to +90°C (- 22°F to 194°F) allows the CBL to be used in both cold-storage and high-temperature processing applications. IP69K certification is available on request for applications requiring 100 bar hot water jet cleaning at 80°C. Cable length is 5 m for 250 to10,000 kg and 10 m for 12,500 to100,000 kg. ATEX/IECEx certified versions are available for hazardous areas.
