This particular wireless weighing
application was designed to determine the weight of each wheel
of ambulance and store the relevant data on a customdesigned
handheld device
The system incorporated four Massload ultraslim
weighpads using strain gauge technology.We provided the strain gauge signal conditioning anddigital interface to a microprocessor. The data for eachwheel was then wirelessly transmitted to the handheld device.
The handheld device displayed the weight in graphic
form, also allowing the operator to store ID #, dates, etc
The handheld device could also wirelessly transmit data to local computers.
