Permanent Weigh in Motion

The durability and accuracy of Massloads line of permanent weigh in motion scales is second to none. We produce our own loadcells, and manufacture the pads ourselves which allows us to have tight control over quality and price.

The following are 2 types of permanent scales that can be used for both weigh in motion and static weighing. They both require a foundation and shallow pit to make them flush with the road surface.

Full Width System

This system comes in 2 separate pads but they are meant to butt together in the middle, making a full lane width pad. Generally, they vary from 12 1/2"- 30" long x 100" - 144" wide, 6" deep.

The advantage to these pads is that the vehicle driver cannot 'miss' the pads. They are forced to drive over the scale when installed in a lane. This system uses a total of 4 rigid mount, heavy duty loadcells, and have been proven to have very high accuracy, even with very low weights (such as a person driving a bicycle over the scale). Capacities range from 12,000lbs up to 25,000 lbs per pad.

Wireless Weighing In Motion

It’s been about 4 years since we started talking about weigh-in-motion applications for the roads ministry in Mexico. Since then, Massload has supported us developing the system for the specific Mexican needs: fixed, portable, ultra slim…you name it; and in each and every application, such systems have performed excellent; have demonstrated that are as accurate and reliable as no other system from the competition that we have tried. Now that the Mexican authorities are enforcing and demanding the vehicle to meet the load weight allowances, another, way larger market is poping out: the private and public end user companies. Up to now, we have sold over 48 weigh-in-motion systems in the Mexican market and with over 100 more in the works.
