DEADLINE SENSOR
Designed with the oil field in mind, Massload has developed a low cost line tension sensor that fits a variety of cable sizes. This unique design does not require the user to cut any cables and create dead ends for load measurement devices. It simply clamps onto the middle of the wire rope and measures cable deflection to determine how much load is being applied. An industry standard 4-20 mA output allows you to connect this unit to a variety of devices including PLCs and PCs.

WIRED DEADLINE (HARD CONNECT)
Tension measurement can be displayed by an indicator via wired connection (see wired digital indicator). The cable connection between the deadline sensor and display can be a seal-over hard connect. This is suitable for installations where the device is not expected to be disconnected from the indicator. Standard cable length is 60' but custom lengths can be provided as well.

WIRED DEADLINE (MILITARY CONNECT)
External indicators can also be connected to the deadline via 4-pin military style quick-disconnects. This allows for easy disonnection and reconnection from the deadline should it need to be moved or stored. The drawback of military connectors is that their sealing standard is not as high as hard-wired connections. Quick disconnect cable comes in 10', 20', and 50' lengths.

WIRELESS DEADLINE SENSOR
Tension load can be displayed by external indicator that communicates wirelessly with the deadline sensor. Wireless deadlines have a cabled connection to a wireless transmitter and battery box that then communicate with the indicator (see wireless digital indicator). The wireless deadline is powered by 4 AA batteries with a life of 200+ hours of continuous use. The deadline enters sleep mode when not in use to protect battery life and has wireless range of 40 meters line of sight.
